Meet the teachers from Tassah Academy!
These last few weeks I have had the honor of working with many of the great teachers here at Tassah Academy. Despite the end of the school year, which always comes with many festivities and hectic work to be done, these teachers showed their never ending interest and dedication to our program. Through their long hours after school, and continued presence during the first weeks of summer vacation, they have shown their desire to learn and share. Here are just a few of the profiles (autobiographical in nature).
1. Angadam Moses Etoh
Personal Background:
Mr. Angadam Moses Etoh, elementary school teacher. Trained in Government teacher training college (Giic Mbengwi), Momo Division, (Northwest Region). I have been teaching for 3 years now.
What subjects do you teach?: All Primary school subjects: that is, Maths, English Language,
Geography, Environmental Education, Science, Human Rights, General Knowledge, Civics, ICT
Students/pupils ages: Most of the pupils in class 4 are of ages 6-10 years.
2. Ms. Blessing Shehmbom Amuh, elementary school teacher.
Personal Background, teaching experience:Trained at Full Gospel Bilingual Teacher Training
College Mbengwi, Momo Division Northwest Region. Taught already for 3 years at TBNPS Messamenelongo, Yaounde.
What subjects do you teach? – Mathematics, English, Moral Education, Health Education,
Environmental Education, Civics, ICT (computer technology), Music, Drawing, Human Rights, Home Economics, Arts and Crafts, General Knowledge, Sports and Physical Education. Pupils’ ages in Class #3: The ages of my pupils ranges between 6-9 years
3. Ayuk Joseph
Mr. Joseph Ayuk, secondary school (middle) science teacher. Trained from the university of Yaounde1 Cameroon, faculty of sciences, Biochemistry department. I teach Biology and Chemistry for the secondary of students aging from 10 to 16, I love sport, music and reading.
4. Funwie Nkwenti
Mr. Funwie Nkwenti, middle school science teacherTrained from the University of Buea Cameroon, Faculty of Science, and the Department of Geology and Environmental Science.
Trained from the University of Buea Cameroon, Faculty of Science, and the Department of Geology and Environmental Science. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics for secondary school. Students of ages between 10 to 16. Thats forms one to five. I love sports, movies, musics, adventures and reading.
